Deka Intimidator – 8A31DTM Marine / RV Dual Purpose Battery

The Deka 8A31DTM is an American made AGM (absorbed glass-mat) deep cycle battery. The AGM technology allows for a completely sealed maintenance-free battery with no sulfuric acid leaks, no acid clean up, and more power in the same space when compared to conventional batteries. It has a less than 2% per month self discharge rate. These are manufactured by East Penn Manufacturing who also makes batteries for MK Battery.

Warranty is for 1 year free replacement.

Deka’s Intimidator batteries offer dual purpose capabilities for crisp engine starting and long deep discharge typical of Marine and RV applications, while the power sports range are designed specifically for high performance starting applications in smaller recreational vehicles including motorcycles, quad bikes, jet skis and snowmobiles. Deka Solar power products are purpose built for domestic, commercial and industrial deep cycle power storage applications.

Note:

It is always advised that for ATVs, motorcycles, personal watercraft & snowmobiles that are not used on a regular basis a maintenance charger is used to keep the battery fully charged and in good condition

Flat Rate Shipping for this battery relates to MOST inner suburban Australian destinations. Outer suburbs and remote or regional areas will incur a surcharge. Regional FNQ/NT/SA/TAS/WA will incur freight charges. We will contact you if/when freight surcharges apply. Please provide your phone number on the order form so we can contact you. Alternatively please contact us with all freight inquiries. Free store pick-up is available.

Freight Insurance 

Some couriers offer complimentary product indemnity insurance, however, this is a limited policy and not always sufficient to cover the purchase price of your order. We will notify you when this complimentary insurance does not cover the cost of your order and suggest you take out further cover. It will be your choice to take out further cover should you choose to. Should you wish to take out insurance this will be invoiced by us and paid for by you on a separate tax invoice. If you choose not to take out insurance to cover the cost of your purchase, The Battery Base will not be liable for the loss/cost of replacing the damaged goods or shipping costs.
